Meet Nigel!
Nigel is an approx 2 year old Chi/MinPin mix 9best guess). He was picked up from the shelter after being taken from his previous owner for neglect.
Nigel is a very sweet dog! He has been observed to resource guard food, and will need a little patience when he first gets introduced to new things and people. He is incredibly playful, and loves playing with toys and dogs that are close in size to him! He is a young fella, and with the right home and family that work with him, he will be an amazing companion!
We believe Nigel's best home includes at least one dog of similar size, and children over the age of 10.
Nigel travels to Wisconsin on 6/26!
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
