My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.

Shelby is a 6 year old female Yorkie recently released from a commercial breeding facility. She weighs approximately 13 pounds. Shelby loves the other small dogs in her foster home but has not been introduced to big dogs or children. She walks well on leash and enjoys her daily strolls around the neighborhood. She rides well in the car and is crate trained. Shelby does take an anti-inflammatory medication for arthritis and needs a consistent routine to help her to remember her house training etiquette.
Adoption donation $300.

Shelby is being fostered in Longmont, CO.

Due to her background, she does need a resident canine in her forever home.

The suggested adoption donation for Shelby is a minimum of $300 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.

Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
