Take the Pet Home
This helps Loved At Last Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Hi there! My name is Reese's Puppycups. I got my name because I am a beautiful dog who kind of, a little bit, resembles a peanut butter cup. And I am every bit as sweet! You can call me Reese for short.
Here is some about me:
Breed: Anatolian shepherd mix
Age: 5 years
Gender: Female
Weight: 66 lbs
Height: 23-1/2 inches
Energy level - moderate
My rescuers found me roaming the streets in a Middle Eastern city on my 3 legs (I am a tripawd pup). I was emaciated, dehydrated, and struggled to stay alive. It is hard enough for four-legged dogs to survive in a city where we are considered vermin, but disabled dogs like me have to fight off both people and other dogs to survive.
Luckily for me, I was brought to Vancouver by Loved at Last and am now happily living in a foster home. My foster dad says I have the gentlest, kindest personality. I adore meeting new people and will happily roll over on my back to encourage belly rubs!
My foster dad says I am very smart and curious about my new world here in Canada... but I am also still a bit frightened by it. I have gone through a lot to get here and continue to remain vigilant about my surroundings when out in the world. I am still worried that I may be hurt. With the love and support I receive every day I am gradually gaining confidence. Despite my nervousness, I don’t have an ounce of aggression towards people in me. I'm a gentle girl who just wants to love and be loved forever!
At home my foster dad and I play games where he hides treats for me and I softly pick my way around the blanket to find them. Because I am intelligent and very eager to please, I am easy to train. I am loyal and loving and will be ever so grateful to be your best friend.

I may be a tripaw, but I can do everything my four legged friends can do. I am the perfect example that dogs are three legged creatures with a spare.
I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped
My adoption fee is $700.00 CAD plus applicable taxes.
Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.
Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
*Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordatella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.
