My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Laney came into the shelter as a stray, she had a bad case of kennel cough and was a boney 7 lbs. She was so sick she was scheduled for euthanasia. Luckily her foster mom spotted her cowering in the corner and got her out of there in the nick of time.

Laney is now healthy, eating well, and at her ideal weight of 11 lbs. We think Laney is about 2-4 years old. She is very sweet and affectionate, although she will be protective of you if strangers come around. Laney wants nothing more than to be your lap dog and she will follow you everywhere. She goes to sleep in her bed, but definitely prefers to sleep with you and will try to find her way into your bed during the night. :)

Laney does well with kids and other dogs, but she will chase cats relentlessly! She walks great on a leash, rides well in the car, and she's cooperative with the groomer.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
