My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Newest update: July 2022

Brody is a really sweet 5 year old Black Mouth Cur and weighs 65#. Unfortunately his owner had a change in their living situation and we agreed to help with finding him a new family.

Brody knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and stay. He is very smart and picks up on things easily. He loves to go on runs and play fetch. He loves to sleep underneath the covers and will cuddle for a little bit. He is not a fan of being in a crate and he does love to bark at squirrels, we have also been told he is allergic to chicken.

Brody does great with female dogs when introduced slowly but has not had much exposure to meeting male dogs. We do not currently have information on him with cats or children. Brody was fostered by a vet tech who brought him to work and he was a champion greeter in the front office. He loves to play fetch with the jolly ball, and he is just the SWEETEST!

Brody does not love the crate but is capable of staying in there, though he will sometimes howl. A dog-proof area that is gated may be the best option for him in a new home.

Brody and his foster mom were accosted by a cranky off-leash male dog and Brody did not react poorly so with continued training we think he will do great!

If you are interested in Brody or any of our pups, please fill out the adoption application.

Please note: we do not have a physical location whe

re the dogs are located; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they feel safe and loved.
