My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!**

I’m Bluebird, the biggest and best of Little Birdies litter. Well, I am definitely the biggest. And I think I am the boss, although my brothers and sisters don’t always agree. I will let my mom tell you more about me – I am too busy playing. Yep, Bluebird is a big puppy without a care in the world. He is always in the mood for fun, and he thinks everything is a silly game. Speaking of fun times, there’s no better pastime than playing with his dog toys. His favorite toy is always the one that one of the other puppies has or that you have in your hands. He is always ready for a game of tug-o-war, and it gives him a chance to show off his athletic side. (Or at least his energy level.) He loves people and other animals too! Bluebird is being fostered in Eatonton, but he’s ready to move on to his furever home.

Bluebird’s mom is a sweet Hound mix, about 75 lbs., and dad is unknown. Based on the pups’ weights now, we don’t think that they will get as big as their mama. And although Mama Robin is tan and white, the puppies are a variety of colors. The pups came into the rescue’s care at about 5 weeks old. They are happy, healthy puppies and they will be completely vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered and microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, worming, and both heartworm and flea / tick prevention. They are energetic pups who will need their families to make sure they have adequate time to give her plenty of exercise and play time! And of course, training – to make sure that they grow up to be good family members. Our rescue also requires that each adopter's current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives. All animals in your household should also be spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason to keep them from being altered.

If you are interested in making Bluebird or one of the other Little Birdies pups part of your family, please visit the link below to fill out an application! It is best to submit an application through a computer. We have experienced some problems when applications have been submitted using a mobile device. When you submit the application, you are not obligated to adopt; however, it does put you in the queue for the puppy that you are interested in. To expedite the process, please make sure that you complete the application entirely – listing the names and phone numbers for your references (personal as well as vet and landlord, if applicable). If you have any questions, please contact us – we’d be glad to help!
