My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi guys! My name is Dusty Buns (boy) and this is my bestie Suzie Poo (girl). We were born on April 10, 2022. The kind people here at Paws for Life scooped us up during a TNR project and brought us to safety. We pretended to be spicy, but we were just so used to defending ourselves from bad things and people. But, we realized very quickly that people are absolutely amazing and now we never leave their side. We are constantly following our foster parents around like little shadows, but now we're ready to find our forever people. We are both extremely affectionate and loving, and we very much enjoy wrestling and snuggling with each other, playing with toys and climbing the cats towers. We get along well with the other cats in our foster home, as well as the big cat-friendly dog too. We are litterbox trained and ready to go! Please let us be the newest members of your family! Adoption fee: $125. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
