My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~ADOPTED BY GERARD!~ Ruby is her name and she is a gem of a cat. She's half Bengal and we assume the other half is Domestic Short Hair, as part of her face is in the orange tabby coloring and she has white paws and neck. This combination of three different colors makes her a calico. The rest of her is brown tabby with spotting like a Bengal. She is such a sweetheart and thrives off attention. She is approximately 1 year old from what her former owner told us. She is litter box trained, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines. Ruby is picky about having a clean litter box, so she needs someone that can take the time to clean her box at least once every day.


FEATURED ON KRDO NEWS 13 11/23/05! Please call or email for more information (if you email us please expect a delay in getting back to you). Ruby MUST be kept in-doors AT ALL TIMES.... or allowed outside supervised WITH a leash and harness on (also could have a cat-proof fenced yard). Adoption includes an application, house-visit, contract, and fee. We offer a reduced adoption fee if 2 cats or kittens are adopted by the same family. By signing our contract, adoptees agree to return their kitties to GHP if for any reason they can't be kept any longer. People within a 50 mile radius of Colorado Springs get adoption priority due to transportation restrictions unless I can find someone to do out-of-town adoptions (this is pending). NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to do home visits in the Denver area please let me know ASAP! Ruby would love to have a forever home.
