My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a purebred, 8 year old German Shepherd! She is very active for her age and could play fetch all day! She loves her ball and always carries it around with her! Even though she enjoys playing, she is also very well-behaved in the house and will just lay by your feet when it is time to relax. After being abandoned in a canyon (where she was rescued from) Molly is so grateful for all the comforts of a home and enjoys a soft bed to curl up in.

She is also very loyal. When she is left alone, she sits quietly and patiently by the door for you to come back.

Molly is friendly and gets along well with all people. She doesn't bark, knows basic commands, and she is crate trained as well as housebroken. She does sometimes pull on a leash though. (she is just so excited to explore and check everything out!) Molly can be around other dogs but is very dominant and would do best in a home without other animals.

She has been checked over by our vet and is in great shape! She does, however, have an eye condition that slightly impairs her vision and she takes daily drops to prevent further vision loss. She may not have perfect eyesight but she can still see and has no problems finding anything or getting around.

Overall, Molly is a great girl! Well-behaved, playful, smart, loyal and loving!

Additional adoption info

Go to our website to fill out an Adoption Application! We will review your app and, if your home is a good match for the pet, we well email you to set up a meeting with your family and current pets. If all goes well at the meeting, we offer a foster to adopt program where you can take home the pet you're interested in for up to two weeks to make sure he/she is a good fit for your home and is welcomed by your other current animals. We just ask that you leave the adoption fee as a deposit before taking your pet home. Any time within the two weeks, if you decide the pet is a perfect addition to your family, let us know and sign the Adoption Contract, we will hand over all vaccine paperwork, and the pet is yours! (If you decide the pet is not for you, the deposit will be returned in full)

Adoption Fees:
$400 for puppies (6mo or younger)
$350 for adult dogs
$250 for senior dogs (8+years)

$150 for kittens (6mo or younger)
$125 for adult cats
$100 for senior cats

Go meet their pets

Potential adopters must submit an application before setting up a private meeting with that specific animal. Once application is reviewed, we will email to make arrangements to set the date/time. We ask that the entire family and current pets are present. Meetings are held at the animals location or at your home. We also have adoption shows occasionally where you can come down and meet some of our adoptable pets. Please check our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/dominoeffectanimalrescue to find out when our next show will be!

More about this rescue

Domino Effect Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non profit, no kill animal rescue located in Temecula Valley, California dedicated to saving the lives of animals in county shelters. By taking in some of these homeless animals, we hope to ease the overcrowding in shelters which leads to euthanasia. We provide care and love to all animals that enter our rescue as they await their loving, forever homes. Each animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and examined by a licensed veterinarian. Some animals require more medical care than the basics and we help them heal so that they can live healthy lives with their next family. We also work on basic obedience and socialization skills to help each pet develop desired behaviors for their future family.
