My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED!

Loki is a sweet and loving Doberman mix. About 3 years old. His loving demeanor makes him the greatest addition to any family. He loves to play with stuffy toys and is a great indoor large breed companion. He enjoys going on walks and relaxing in his bed or sun bathing outside. He is very gentle with kids and isn’t bothered easily by commotion. He is microchipped and up to date of vetting and shots. Loki has had his two-week training, too.

From Loki's foster:

"I am currently Loki's foster but have only been able to care for him through my job by kenneling him there. After this weekend I have realized that boarding him is not helping him much and possibly making him more excited or reactive. I am not able to keep him in my home due to having too many dogs myself but him not getting along with my male German shepherd but this weekend I kept him at my home to see if I noticed a difference in him. Loki needs to be in a home environment where he can relax and trust. I was even able to introduce him to my newest puppy and he was not reactive at all. I can tell he misses being in a home and interacting with others dogs he familiar with. It pains me to have to board him but it's my best option at the moment but I want nothing but the absolute best for him. He is an amazing dog! You can see in the video, he just wants some love and attention. Very easy to please. Very laid back guy who wants the occasional walk. He has to be the only male in the household but does well with females when introduced properly. There has been little interest from people and I get it is difficult to place a large dog. I've done some meet and greets but they have been homes that have other pets or had an unaltered male and I'm not sure how that will go & I do not want him to fail due to potential owners not understanding his needs. He needs patient owner/foster to work with him everyday. I am not giving up on him! But am asking for some help please help me find a home that Loki can
flourish in. Again he is an amazing dog that that needs some structure and love. I am doing best but I'm feeling like that is not enough. He deserves more."
