Meet Huxley! He is a 4-year-old black and red German Shepherd who loves to go for a run in the morning. He also loves his walks and does very well on a leash. Huxley is currently living with two cats. One is a dog-savvy cat who stands his ground with Huxley and takes a swat at him when he comes near. The other cat will run, so Huxley will follow and the race ends with the cat on the dresser and Huxley waiting for him to come down. Don't leave Huxley behind a closed door with handles instead of doorknobs. He can open door handles!
While Huxley has never lived with children, he has been around children 8 years old and older. He loves a good game of throwing the ball and will bring it back to you......most times. Huxley has been around other dogs and can be fine until the water bowl comes out. He does not like to share his water bowl at all so we are not recommending a home with no other dogs at this time.
