My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hehwoh!

I'm one cute puppy out of 9 puppies that were born back in the beginning of May 2022. Our Mommy was dumped on the side of the road while she was still pregnant with us. How mean is that??? If I could talk like a grown up, I'd have a few choice words to day those meanie heads!

Luckily, a really nice lady took our Mommy in and cared for her until a foster could make room for her to have us.

My Mommy and us could not have asked for better foster parents!! These 2 took our Mommy in and gave her a nice comfy place for us to be born in. They are our saving grace! We will be forever grateful for them 8>

Once we were all stable, we got to go to Lucies and be with other doggies like us. We are the new kids on the block and are having a blast here!

I am super outgoing and love human affection. I am also crate and leash trained!!

We hope to see you soon, as we know you can't resist puppies. Especially ones as cute as us!!

*** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters contact our adoption volunteer either via email or phone. Our volunteer in turn talks to them more about the pet they are interested in. If the adopter seems like a good match, they are requested to complete an application. They come to the rescue location to meet the dog of interest. We also sometimes arrange a home visit to make sure the environment is suitable for the dog. If all is well, they will get a call from a volunteer letting them know they are approved for adoption. They will be provided copies of the vaccination and sterilization records. A delivery day will be arranged for the dog. Either the adopter may come and pick up the dog, or a volunteer can arrange to have the dog delivered. They sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We do periodically contact our adopters to check up on the dog to make sure everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying their new life!

More about this rescue

Local Unity for Canines In Emergency Situations. We are a dog rescue organization, not a shelter or a pound!

We are a group of neighbors who, as a community effort, are helping the many strays and dumped dogs in the area. We take them in, care for them, feed - vaccinate - worm - socialize, and try to find them forever homes. We do depend on donations to help out, and will accept food, medication, bedding, fostering, and direct donations to Veterinarians.
