Meet Dixie:
We're still getting to know Dixie.. But what the volunteers know about her is very positive.
Dixie is:
*Medium Energy
*Enjoys rolling around in the grass
*Knows Sit Command
*Takes Treats Gently
*Calm and quiet in kennel
*Non reactive towards barking dogs walking through kennels
*Relatively Easy to redirect when she gets excited (jumps)
*Fun loving personality
*Kenneled with a large, mixed breed, male dog (we are at full capacity)
*Participated in playgroup (see videos in pet harbor listing).
Dixie is eligible for Free dog training classes with PawsforLife K9 Rescue @ The
People & Pets Innovation Center in Mission Hills, CA (See flyer in the pictures above.)
Dixie would thrive in a home with or without another dog (similar energy level, confident
dog), As always, slow & proper intros to kids and other dogs.
She would love to hitch a ride out of the shelter and into your home.
Below is Dixie's petharbor listing. The pictures & videos show off her awesome personality
