My story

Sweet Penny 💗
She is an absolute joy. Sweet as pie. Very laid back and always happy. Estimated around 10 years. She is very shy and we are working on getting used to being loved and snuggled. She has no idea what it is like to be spoiled rotten but she soaks up attention. She gives kisses already and gets super excited when I come home and when it's feeding time. She has the cutest little happy dance. She loves other dogs and cats. She has a playpen set up with her bed in it and I keep the door open. She loves it and sleeps in it. It is her safe place. She had a recent dental and lost all but her bottom 2 canine teeth, but she eats great. I soak dry food in water to soften it and mix it with some canned.
She is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on her vaccines.
She was rescued from a situation where she was not taught how to potty outside or on potty pads. We are working on that. She will need a patient person, since it will take some time and positive reinforcement.
She is still recovering from her surgery, so it will take a couple more weeks for her to be ready to be adopted.
