My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heyyyyyy, Banjo here. I'm a big boy with a big personality and I let myself be know, like a banjo. All I'm missing is a cowboy hat. I'm a big boy, almost 13lbs, but I'm a gentle giant. I like to run laps with my foster brothers, I loveeeee toys and catnip is the best invention EVER. I like to chirp at my foster mommy to say good morning, and I will jump on her lap when she sits so I can get pets. Because you definitely sat down so I can sit in your lap, right? I love saying hello to all the new kittens who come in, and I make sure I tell them that it's going to be okay, and that they're safe now. I take this job very seriously. I love perching myself in my windowsill, even if I can't see much, because it's the thought that counts, right? I'm 6 years old but I'm still a spry, spring chicken, I'm not slowing down yet. My foster mommy says I'm something called FIV+, whatever that means. I think it means I have a superpower, which is pretty cool if I say so myself. I had a rough start to my life but I have a joy that I spread to everyone and everything around me. If you're looking for a Clyde to your Bonnie, a partner in crime, look no further. Ask to meet me, I promise we'll conquer the world together, (Or at least just dinner. Yeehaw). I'm being fostered in Hampstead, MD (Carroll Co)

Cats that are FIV+ can live with FIV- cats. FIV is transferred through deep bite wounds. As long as the cats do not get into fights involving biting, it is fine for FIV+ and FIV- cats to live together.
There are many resources on the internet to verify this information.
