Name: Miley

Age: 7 years old

Personality: After spending her whole life in a cage, used over and over for breeding, she is looking for a loving home who will teach her that the world is a good place. She enjoys being in peoples company and receiving pets. She gets most excited when it’s dinner time or when you come home after running errands! She loves being outside and exploring the yard or sunbathing. She is very laid back and calm.

Home recommendation: Miley is looking for a home that will work on building her confidence and give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. She is such a wonderful, deserving dog who is ready to shine! She just needs some extra love and patience. She must go home with another dog to help show her the ropes!

Kids: 10+ As Miley would do best in a low activity household.

Dogs: Yes! Miley loves other dogs and is currently being fostered with multiple. She enjoys taking naps with them and following them around the yard. She would thrive having another dog in her future home.

Cats: Miley would be fine in a home with cats

Crate Trained: Miley’s crate is her safe place. She relaxes in it during the day and sleeps in it through the night.

House Trained: Working on it!

Leash Manners: Miley has never been walked on a leash and is still learning. She prefers to explore the backyard but she id making progress!

Training: Miley had little socialization before coming to WISE due to her past life. She needs a patient, understanding family who will work on her training and socialization.

Why did she come to WISE?: WISE recently rescued a group of dogs who were throw aways from an Amish breeding puppy mill. When the "breeder" decided that the dogs were no longer needed for breeding, he planned to euthanize them. WISE and other rescues stepped up to rescue them.
