My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ti CoCo

Ti CoCo is a great 3 year old little guy that joined us from a Quebec shelter.

He is a Min Pin mix and weighs around 15 pounds.

He came to us with battle scars and a bum back leg. He was found as a stray, so he has no history and we have no idea what's happened to him.

Our orthopedic surgeon reviewed his xrays and file and determined his leg injury is incredibly old and at this point there is nothing that can be done to correct it. He uses his leg 75% of the time and skips on it the rest of the time.

It's been recommended if it's causing him pain we amputate it, but it honestly doesn't bother him and he does not seem painful at all. He has lived with this for likely most of his life (we guesstimate he's about 4 years old) and has adapted beautifully.

Ti CoCo also has may scars on his body. We're not certain if it's maybe from when he injured his leg or he's been a victim of abuse.

Inside, Ti CoCo is the most gentle, sweet, loving, cuddly, snuggly precious boy you could ever hope to have in your life. He has lived with cats and is perfectly indifferent.

Outside, Ti CoCo is reactive with barking at most dogs. He can be a bit barky at “things” outside as well.

We're looking for a quiet home for him, out of the City, where his mind can be put at rest to the world around him that frightens him. Or a home in suburbia with a big fenced backyard where he doesn't have to face the things that scare him and can just be a dog that frolics in his yard and lives an amazing life.

TiCoCo is great with dogs as long as he’s off leash. He’s barky with other dogs on leash

We won't place Ti CoCo in a home with kids. Unless they let older dog savvy kids.

If you're looking for an amazing canine companion, that will give you all the love you need, and snuggles galore, this is your boy.

As of today, though our protocols could change tomorrow, we are still moving forward with adoptions. Our process has changed from some of the previous elements: We are a registered animal welfare organization, so we are deemed an essential service. All paperwork completed online, video home visits, meet and greets outside respecting social distancing, leashes/collars/supplies wiped down and disinfected (GermiCide 3 wipes), disinfectant on the dog prior to handoff (Aqueos wipes for dogs)

-----------------------
To note: the above description is relevant to this dog in his current & previous setting. Home changes & adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim, endorse, suggest or hint at, that any of our dogs are hypoallergenic, low shed or no-shed.

-----------------------

Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, deworming, defleaing, Core vaccines & rabies, dog food, nose to tail health exam, toys, collar & leash, food & water dishes, poop bags, go home preventative based on season, custom engraved dog tag.
