My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marty Byrde LOVES people! Which is remarkable seeing as his previous owners were seen leaving him outside and walking away. After knowing me for only 30 minutes, he made himself comfortable in my arms and curled up for a nap. His foster mom had a similar experience and notes that he is a glutton for attention. She works from home, but thinks that he needs more enrichment than she can provide. We think he would be best with 2 or more humans to entertain him, or a playful kitty companion. We are not sure how he would be around a dog, since we've never seen any interactions, but that could be a good fit too.

When he's not sitting in your lap or cuddling in your arms, he loves to play!

The vet estimates that he is between 10 and 11 months old and he's in great health. He is up to date on all of his shots, neutered, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and was already treated for fleas and parasites.

Marty would do best in a home where people are around a lot to keep him entertained, or in a home with another kitty to keep him company.
