Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Kingston! He was rescued from a busy road by a cat loving person during what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend upstate... we aren't sure the kitten was found near Kingston, probably further north since the drive to Brooklyn took 4 hours! Still, the kitten was unharmed, just scared, sleeping in a box and SAFE!
Kingston is not sure yet whether he trusts humans but he doesn't mind food and back scritches so there is hope he will become a lapcat.
His rescuer snapped a scared kitten photo during a handover - the last photo is apres vaccination, dinner, and a massage. We think he looks much more confident.
We are still waiting for Kingston's fiv and felv test results but if everything goes well he may will be coming to our adoption event soon!
Kingston is about 7 weeks old and will need a kitten buddy in his new home
All cats and kittens are rescued from the streets, abandoned, or pulled from at-risk list at city shelter. All are vaccinated, tested for FIV and FELV, dewormed, and spayed/neutered (if old enough). If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation. If interested in meeting and possibly adopting our cat or kitten please complete an adoption application (link below) Link to adoption application:
