My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Intake Date: 19 May 2022 ----- Age at intake: 1 yrs ----- Breed: mixed ----- Size: 45 lbs ----- Status: found at large ----- Compatible with: Other dogs, children. Can be redirected with cats, will need more exposure and training ----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. No exceptions ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Keller! This boy is named after the awesome employees at Keller Paving in Minot. Keller was running at large for weeks through the blizzards and freezing temps and uncatchable. They made sure he had food and eventually he built up enough confidence to go inside the business. He then came to FBS and went unclaimed by an owner. Keller is a fun guy. He is handsome and has a luscious thick coat. He is so sweet with other dogs and loves to play. He walks nicely on a leash too. He is young and will be an amazing addition to a family! He does have some separation anxiety but seems to settle down once he feels safe. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
