My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof! My name is Kale, which is kind of funny since I look much more like a corndog or a chicken nugget.

I am about 40lbs and 4 years old. I am incredibly sweet and gentle and want a family to pet me and talk to me. I am a little wary of new dogs but warm up quickly to dogs that respect my personal space. I have NEVER met a stranger. If you are busy and cannot pet me, I will rub against you like a cat and turn you into my personal back scratcher. Sometimes I like to zoom around a little bit, but I am overall a very low maintenance dog. I will do great with kids who love to play but will also do great with a single person who just wants a best friend.

I don’t know why my first family got rid of me. They kept me outside and eventually dumped me. Maybe I am just too friendly to be a guard dog. Can someone please make me a part of their family forever? I’d love to be home for Christmas.
