If you’re a fan of Tik Tok, you may already know Matthew! Matthew was found injured (hit by a car) and suffering in a ditch for several hours while his buddy Corey wouldn’t leave him. Thankfully, two Lola’s Texas fosters came and saved both dogs. Matthew had an injured hip and was covered with road rash. Now nearly 9 months later, Matthew is completely healed and hanging out in Wisconsin at his foster home, waiting to be adopted!
Matthew is great with other dogs, he currently has many canine companions in his foster home and he gets along great with teeny tiny to extra large dogs! It’s a must for Matthew’s potential new family to have a canine companion for him!
It may take Matthew a little bit to warm up to his new people. This may require more than one meeting. He does warm up faster to women than men, but rest assured, if you put the work in, Matthew will reward you with a gentle lick to your hand. His foster dad says he’s a really great dog! His foster mom say’s he’s one of the easiest dogs she’s ever fostered! He’s a very quite boy, is great with his new routine and loves going with to the barn to do chores!
We would love to find Matthew his forever home. We do feel it would be best if that home had a fenced in yard. Matthew is currently being fostered in Delavan, WI and we are happy to answer any questions anyone may have about Matthew!
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
