My story

Please meet Amaryllis!! Amaryllis who responds to Riley, is a 12-lb, RARE all black Pomeranian that took his freedom ride to Bars II Beds on April 24th. This 6 month old (born 11/20/2021) is the cutest little guy that loves his chew toys.

As a typical toddler, he has energy to burn and puts everything in his mouth. He will nibble fingers and toes so we recommend a family with older children (should you have them). He is crate trained at night but during the day is a Houdini that gets out of the gated area. 🤣

We are consistently working on potty pad and outside potty training. He responds to his name and has learned basic commands. His furever family will need to continue with training, to ensure a proper temperament is learned. He loves his person and needs to be as close to you, as possible. He adores snuggling, belly and chest rubs. He’s good with other dogs can but get verbal at times. Walks well on short leash with harness. He can be a bit guarded with some men but can be won over with slow introduction and some of his favorite treats.

He’s had a rough start so far but he’s the happiest little fur ball and has accomplished so much, in just a month, since rescue. Patience will allow him to be the best dog he can be.
