Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Scooby..because I look just like Scooby-Doo! Scooby is about 6-7 months old and already almost 50 pounds! His breed is probably some Great Dane, Ridgeback and terrier, a Super Mutt! Scooby is looking for a new family to call his own. He came from a rocky start. He was left alone and caged all day and not knowing when he was getting his next meal. Scooby is now in foster care, and thriving! He loves food, attention and toys. He is gentle, not a barker and loves other dogs. Scooby is submissive and just wants to be loved. He has not been around cats yet but loves kids. Scooby can act a little protective of his people when being introduced, but after introduction, he’s all love! Because of this, we are suggesting his family consult a trainer to keep commands consistent so Scooby knows what is expected. He’s a very smart and willing puppy! Scooby is crate trained and sleeps all night in his crate, he has had a few accidents but is getting better as he gets older. Scooby would love his own family and kids to play with or curl up next to while watching TV. Will you be his new family?
Interested in becoming a forever home for Scooby? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws.
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Scooby.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Scooby the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
