My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Travis, the amazingly handsome and friendly Cocker Spaniel, is now ready to find his forever.

Travis first came from animal control as a stray pickup. We do not know his age for sure but think he is between 8-10 years old. He was terrified and very underweight. At his first vet appointment, the vet diagnosed him with kidney disease. Thanks to the love and care of his foster mom, Travis is thriving.

Because of Travis' kidney disease, a fenced yard is a must to allow him to freely go out when the need arises. A doggie door is a major plus as well, especially since an unlimited water supply should be available for him. He is a vocal guy when he needs to go outside, so at 3 am don't be surprised if he doesn't have access to a doggie door.

With his condition, he will sleep a lot throughout the day. He won't miss greeting you with a kiss and butt wiggle when you get home. On bad days, there may be some bouts of vomiting but that is to be expected with his condition. His adopter will need to make sure he not only has plenty of water but has plenty of food.

Travis loves every human he has ever met. Cats, maybe not so much, they are fun to chase. He can get along with other dogs as long as they are calm and do not interfere with his normal routine.
