Meet Rio!
This little guy found himself alone, wandering in Mexico. Poor Rio was in pretty bad shape when he was found-looking for food and water. Such a you and little guy to fend for himself.
Thankfully, he found his way to Lola’s! His Texas foster says he loves to play with other smaller dogs, loves walks, and has learned that he loves to play with toys!
A home with older children (over 8) would be better for Rio, and he would love at least one companion in his new home.
Rio travels to Wisconsin on 6/12!
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
