Young Howie is ready to make friends with everyone he meets! He's an active boy that will do best with an active family who can take him on hikes or for jogs to exhaust his stores of energy. He would benefit from some training as he can get a bit aroused in play and needs to learn how to be more polite and appropriate. He has a tendency to be mouthy in play and, as soft as it is, he needs to learn to not use his mouth when playing with humans. He's been making progress during his time in the shelter. Howie is a big fan of belly-rubs! He is a high-impact, rude player with other dogs so he will need to find tolerant playmates who will not take offense to his over-the-top playstyle.
