Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are happy to introduce you to Loretta Castorini – we think you will be “moonstruck” with her! Little Loretta is about a year and a half old, now spayed, up to date with vaccines and negative for feline aids/leukemia. We rescued Loretta from the streets of Brooklyn where she was dumped to fend for herself. She was so friendly we knew we needed to make room because she was not the type to be able to be put back in the colony where TNR was being done. Loretta is now in foster with 3 other cats and doing wonderfully!!
A typical day for Loretta is… playing, playing, playing!! She adores all of her new toys and entertains herself all day long. She will also engage in play with the other kitties but knows to back off if she becomes too much lol. We did notice that after vigorous play, she was panting. She then relaxes herself and it stops but we knew we needed to make another vet appointment to see what was going on. Our vet took xrays and watched the videos foster mom took of the episodes. The good news is it’s nothing serious – she has a mild case of asthma which does not need treatment. Our vet, who happens to have a cat with asthma, said we should get an air purifier and it should help immensely. We are getting one this week and will keep everyone posted on her progress. We do believe all will be well and it will not be too hard to keep her happy and healthy!
