As of 2022, Ellie is 14 years old and stands 16.3H. Ellie is a thoroughbred mare that came to HAHS when another local rescue had to close their doors. She has competed on the NIHJA circuit and has been a therapy horse in the past. Due to arthritic changes and a case of EPM that has been treated, Ellie is looking for a companion home. She is an independent horse, but gets along well with other horses. She is good for the vet and farrier. Ellie is currently in foster care.
