These sweet kids were surrendered when their Mom decided she wanted a better life for her pups! They are beautiful and looking forward to a happy life with family, yard and toys!

Molly is a beautiful Isabella Dapple about 11 lbs with the sweetest personality ever. She is happy and loves everyone. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves being in the backyard exploring. She is a typical curious dachshund and will be easy to live with and happy to be your constant companion.

Molly has a fragile back and must never be allowed to walk up or down stairs or steps nor to jump up or down off things. She must always be picked up and carried and/or lifted. For this same reason, Molly must not go to a home where children live or visit who would have any access to handling her. Molly also seems to have a hearing impairment and doesn't seem to hear thunder or squeaky toys or other things that usually attract a pup's attention. However, her ears perk up at a high whistle frequency but not lower whistle frequencies. Molly LOVES playing fetch, but if she loses sight of what is thrown for her, she relies on mine sweeping or sight tracking to locate it again. She's a happy girl and has learned to cope with her hearing disability in her own way.

The ideal home for Molly would be a house with a fenced in yard where she could enjoy playing fetch and exploring; however, apartment or condo living could work if she's taken to a dog park or a safe outdoor place where she could enjoy playing fetch off a leash. She also loves to chase her toys indoors. Another thing she enjoys is floating around in the pool with her foster mom!

Even though her foster mom works away from home on certain days of the week and Molly obediently spends those days being crated, she would be perfect for someone who works from home or is retired who would be there for her to enjoy life with day in and day out.
