Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ophelia!
Ophelia is an 8 lb, 7 week old Female Australian shepherd and lab/retriever mix
Ophelia is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to the East Coast.
Ophelia will be available for our July transport
Ophelia is a sweet pup. She can be a bit timid in new situations but loves to play with her toys and snuggle up in your arms. She is enjoys exploring the yard, chewing on sticks, and getting lots of cuddles and kisses. Ophelia is a sweet puppy just sometimes needs a little extra time and encouragement to feel comfortable. She will likely thrive in an interactive home where she can play, get lots of cuddles on the couch, and get plenty of exposure to new friends and places to help her build confidence in new environments.
Ophelia is being fostered with her littermates, foster dog siblings, and foster cat brother. She loves playing with each of them but is still a bit apprehensive of the cat. This curly haired puppy feels secure around people she knows and all animals—even chickens!
While there’s no certainty of her breed makeup, our best guess is Australian shepherd and lab/retriever mix, and maybe even a splash of poodle or spaniel to account for the very curly hair. Ophelia was born 4/14/2022 and will be available for July transport. This sweet girl will need a short amount of time to adjust to her forever family, but once she does, you will get a lifetime of unconditionally love in return!
