My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Boy Bruce is the most handsome hambone around! He's looking for a family to spoil him with bouncy balls, walks through the neighborhood, and lots and lots of belly rubs. Bruce is great with other dogs, but is a little too interested in cats, so kitty siblings are a no-go. Bruce can be shy with new people at first, but is a love muffin, once he realizes you're holding treat. He would do best in a household with children over the age of 12 yrs. Bruce is the kind of fella who would love to come hang out at pup-friendly places, like breweries and restaurants. Bruce is crate trained and has been an outstanding houseguest for his foster mama!

Bruce came from an unsafe area in Birmingham and at 2 years old, already had heartworms. But he hit the jackpot when he wandered up to the right house, where a friendly, dog-loving gal lives. Bruce saw her dogs playing in the backyard, and made his way over to the fence to say hello. That moment changed his life forever. He's now safe and loved in a foster home and has been successfully treated for heartworms. Now he just needs to find his forever family. Could it be you?
