Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy May had a really rough beginning. She was a breeder in a hoard of 150 other dogs. Then the house burned down! All 150 were in a house fire and unfortunately only 78 were rescued. Daisy May is a survivor. She had a little smoke inhalation so is just finishing up her antibiotics for her runny nose and cough. All of the dogs at her house at severe flea infestation so she has had some damage to her coat but it's growing back in nicely now.
Daisy would prefer to have her own person. She is protective of the person she bonds with and doesn't like to share her lap but doesn't tolerate it. Daisy has been attention deprived so she thrives on positive attention. She wants to be with you always. She loves to be held, hugged, kissed, and would love to sleep in bed with you. She is a fantastic cuddle bug. It takes Daisy just a little bit to trust you because of her past experiences. It was less than 24 hours at her foster home before she was wanting cuddled. She is just a little shy when she meets you so she needs a family who is patient.
When she comes around she is super friendly. She loves to have her belly rubbed. Daisy would do best in a house with no children or teens. She has been through it and needs soft hands! She does okay with other dogs, and her tolerance of cats is unknown.
It would be great if she had a family who worked from home or was retried. She is a tiny little girl, weighing only 5lbs. She is gaining a little in her foster home as she should! She is a good car rider, and uses pee pads and goes outside..
Daisy is in the prime of her life, most chi's live from 15-20 years., so Daisy has years left of love to give! Please feel out an application at BiggieSmallsHouseofChi.com and see more photos and videos on facebook at Biggie Smalls House of Chi.
