Hi, my name is Kallie and I am a beautiful, 2 1/2 yr old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd, or baussie, with a gorgeous tail and freckles. I am 50 lbs, spayed and fully vetted. I just know there is someone out there who will love me!
I love to cuddle and be by your side during trips outdoors, walks, and anything to do with water. I am the definition of a velcro dog. I am a true snuggle bug and would be a lap dog if I was smaller, or if you have a large couch.
I would be happiest in a home with older kids who can understand my needs. I am friendly and playful with dogs my size, but I struggle with smaller dogs.
If you were to ask me what my favorite thing is, it would be when my foster mom grabs my harness and leash and we get to go somewhere exciting. I am still working on my leash manners, but have come a long way. I have great recall outside and am good at waiting by the door for a human to open it.
I’ve worked hard to learn to leave cats alone both inside and out. I do not understand that cats don’t like my kisses and don’t want to play with me. Only dog savvy cats would be best.
My foster mom says that I am a brilliant and sweet dog. I would do best with a fenced yard and a new human who loves long walks multiple times a day. I would love to show you my water skills too! I am told that I need continued training since I still jump.
I do have incontienence, but I now take Proin and no more leaking!! What a relief! I need some continued training to understand that I don’t need to protect my family from the other dogs in the house. I would love a more submissive canine brother or sister.
