My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is currently in boarding or a shelter. S/he could really benefit from a foster home that could offer more one-on-one interaction and less crate time. If interested, we'd love for you to fill out our Foster Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Fosters).

Snacks has golden eyes that cut deep into your soul. She is smart, soulful, and so full of love. She has never had her shot at a forever home, and all she wants is a human to snuggle up to.
She knows every trick in the book, and always wants to learn more.   Snacks has worked with a professional trainer, and I’ve been training her consistently. She knows sit, stay, down, off, come, leave it, heel, etc.
Her trainer has even offered 3 free sessions to her adopter! She’s INCREDIBLY smart and loves learning new tricks.

She is shy with new people and has only ever lived in a no-kid no-pet house, so I think she’d do best with no young kids. She does not enjoy people coming up to her space she doesn’t know well, but once she’s comfortable she is a Velcro dog.

She would do best in a home with a couple with no kids or pets so she can focus on napping and snuggling all day. She loves to sunbathe, so a yard is a bonus but not a must have.
