My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Give our cats & kittens a loving, forever home, and let them put a smile on your face!

Jane Blu was rescued from a 30 cat colony in Oxnard.  She is totally Blind, but that does not prevent her from using a litter box, interacting with cats and dogs or bonding to her person. She is smart! Beautiful Russian Blu mix kitten. Jane  had one of her eyes surgically removed on recommendation from our Veterinarian. - An amazing, socialized cat- We want to adopt her into a forever household, with people who have a long pet history. Easy to groom and trim nails- Indoor Only, Shy in a new home  but will come around to being the most interesting, playful companion for any calm cat person.

Jane enjoys the company of other mellow cats, gets along with cat friendly dogs.

More about this rescue

Greyfoot Cat Rescue & Sanctuary is a non-profit founded in 1999, by a group of animal loving friends. We place unwanted, abandoned and homeless cats and kittens into permanent loving homes. We have successfully placed over 5000 cats and kittens and altered 2300 feral cats (TNR). Our "no kill" sanctuary "The Cat Ranch" houses our adoptables and 37 lucky special needs and feral cats. Our wish is for every cat and kitten to be a wanted cat and to stop all killing at our county shelter.
