Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER PLACEMENT FOR ZAYDA< WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ADOPTION APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME Zayda is about a year old. She was born with a cleft lip and soft palate. She does not require surgery to have it repaired, any surgery would be only cosmetic. She was also born with an extra vertebrae and her back legs are longer than they should be so she has a hunched back appearance to her. Zayda has had a rough start to life and has not had any training or proper socialization. She is not good with other dogs or cats and has only been around children 12 years of age and older. She does need to work on house breaking and basic commands. She is not good on a leash at all, so a fenced in yard is mandatory. (she will not walk on a leash, she bites at it and pulls at it and will not let go) Zayda requires regular exercise/play time to exhaust her pent up energy. When she has built up energy or she is over stimulated she will try to grab whatever she can get a hold of- bag, clothes, cardboard box etc and will try to shred it. If you try to take it from her, she will refuse to let go. So if you are still reading this, you will also need to know that Zayda has a very sweet side to and just needs the right person that has time and patience to teacher her how to be a proper dog. If you would like to make a difference in Zayda's life, please apply to be a foster at fairytails-rescue.weebly.com The rescue pays for vetting, food, and supplies, Foster just needs to provide a safe loving home and day to day care. We do prefer foster to be close to, or willing to travel to vet appointments in Bethel, Maine. Zayda has had her first set of shots, but still requires vet appointments for her second set of shots and then will need to be spayed prior to being ready for adoption,June 16, 2022, 10:11 am
