My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you a world traveler? We think Meatball wants to be your co-Pilot. Always looking to load up and go.

Meatball - this handsome fella is approx 5-7 yrs old and down right adorable!

Meatball will be the joy of his owners life. He will need that owner who understands he has some insecurities that once his owner become aware rhey seem to not be as large as he makes them. He is a great dog, playful, loving, energetic and loves to lay in your lap.

He’s a typical Jack. He will resource guard his person but when he’s put down on the ground, he won’t start a fight with others. If they start it, he’ll react. As we say in the south: 'If you don't start none, there won't be none.'  He likes routine and is just waiting to be told what you want. He waits to be asked to do things, invited to laps, etc.

If you are looking for a buddy to hang out with this is your guy - please apply @ Russellrescuetn.com for Meatball

More about this rescue

Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
