My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTERED

Katie had to leave her loving, happy home when her guardian’s health suddenly failed. She is an easy-going, good-natured kitty that made the transition to ARC without a lot of difficulty. She is now ready for another chance at a forever home. She is quiet and generally a happy kitty that enjoys the company and attention of everyone. She gets along great with all the other cats in her cottage also. She does not mind being picked up and held. She would do best in a quiet, settled home where she can get the love and attention she wants and deserves. Come meet Katie and see for yourself what a great feline she is!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
