Lincoln is a little shy at first, and he can be selective about who he likes. But when he decides you're a friend, you're a true friend. He gets along with other dogs and generally is with a playmate. He would do best in a home with people who have time to continue his education, who will engage his brain and help him learn how to be a good dog. He's well on the way, but being fairly young, he can use some more schooling. This sweet boy wound up in a shelter, where he was labeled "rescue only" -- we're not sure why. He is pretty mellow and would do best in a home that is also mellow. He doesn't like a lot of high-intensity energy; he's much better with easy-going people
