My story

Say hello to our not-so-raggedy Muffin. At 12-years-old this senior kitty’s life was upended when her owner passed away. A kind neighbor took her in. Unfortunately, this good samaritan’s resident cat wanted nothing to do with Muffin. Having nowhere else to go, she joined our community.

When a cat has to go through sudden changes in their living situation, it can be very distressing to them. Muffin was understandably depressed when we met her. She was eating very little during the day but we noticed her dish was empty each morning. Perhaps this girl is a night owl! Muffin is a little reserved at the moment. However, she happily lets us give her gentle pats while she lounges on her cat tree. Adopting an older cat not only gives them a home to spend their golden years in. It’s an opportunity for you to see just how special seniors can be! Our sweet Muffin would make an amazing addition to any family. We do think a calm environment where she is free to sit and reflect on the world around her would be the best fit. Muffin qualifies for our Senior program. Contact us today to meet her!
