My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please help us welcome one of our feline friends, Chloe! Chloe is around 1.5 years old. She had lived in her previous home since she was a kitten. Her previous owners felt she was no longer the best fit for their home, and they brought her to us to help her find a home better suited for her.
Chloe was initially a bit overwhelmed when entering the shelter- new people, new animals, unfamiliar routines- it's a bit spooky. We gave Chloe her own condo to adjust to her new environment. She is very affectionate, and so chatty! She had upgraded to a cat room where she had a few feline roommates- she was a bit unsure of them, but she coexisted well. For the most part, she doesn't seem to mind some feline company, although she ultimately enjoys her space.
Chloe loves to know what's going on- EVERYWHERE. She is very sneaky, and found her way out of her room very frequently- she's quite agile around our feet, despite our best efforts! She went from living in one of our cat rooms to becoming what we call a free roamer, where she has free reign of the shelter. Despite having the freedom to wander, she usually finds her way back to us to ask for pats.
Chloes's gone from a scaredy cat to quite the social butterfly- that's what we love to see! If she wants to go somewhere, trust us- she will find a way.
