My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We'd like to introduce you to this absolute unit, Angel! Angel is no stranger to the shelter, unfortunately. She was adopted several years ago and had lived happily with an elderly gentleman and his other kitty. Her person moved into an assisted living facility, and he was unable to take his kitties with him. They came to us, and we are helping them to settle in and thrive through these tough changes.
Angel is named fairly accurately- however, she sometimes can swipe. She ultimately enjoys attention on her own terms. We let her approach us, and she will greet us with the loudest purrs that you have ever heard. She rubs against our hands, and when she's had enough, she will simply walk away.
Although Angel came here with another cat, Chewy, and lived with her, we were told by a family member that the two did not enjoy the presence of one another. They are quite independent, and this proves true with other felines at the shelter. She tolerates the other cats in her space.
