Scout is a 4 year old, female Black Tri Australian Shepherd. She is fully registered with papers, totally up to date on shots and flea/tick/heartworm meds, and spayed. She is house-trained and crate-trained, knows basic commands, and she is the most loving dog.

She loves to run and play ball in the yard, but she is also content to lay on the couch and watch tv with her family. She loves all people, but she unfortunately has shown strong aggression toward other dogs. It breaks my heart to rehome her, but we have other pets in the family and want her to be able to be relaxed in her home without putting our other pets in danger. She must be in a home with no other pets, and it would be best to be in a home with a fenced yard for her to run.

We have not exposed her to children, but she has never shown any aggression toward people. We would require a meet and greet ahead of adoption for her. She is a special dog who we love very much, and we want to find a home that is the perfect fit for her. It's important that any new owners have the time and resources to take good care of her.
