Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Apollo Chase. He is 2-year-old male German Shepherd with husky-like energy. He is looking for a home that has EXPERIENCE with the breed and is willing to train him. We saved him from euthanasia at a shelter that had over 400 dogs with a less-than-200-dog capacity. He needs an adopter who has experience with high energy dogs as he has high energy, husky-like. He is very people-oriented. He is good with other medium/large dogs but need PROPER SLOW INTRODUCTIONS. He is good with kids ages 8 and up- no young kids as he gets jumpy when he's excited. He answers to Chase. He is curious about everything. He loves food but does not resource guard.
Like most young dogs who grew up in a shelter, he needs to learn boundaries, so he needs someone who is a confident leader who can commit to training him. He is a jumper and can jump a standard 6-ft fence but usually he will come back when you call his name (Chase).
