Rescue Story
Woody was found with 1,600 dogs being kept by an animal hoarder in South Korea. Our partner, Beagle Rescue Network, saved him along with all the other dogs.

About Woody
Woody is one of the kindest, sweetest dogs you could ever ask for. His foster family describes him as a gentle soul who is kind and sweet to people and other dogs. He loves spending quality snuggle time with his fosters. He's also a huge fan of endless belly rubs!
If you like going on fun and peaceful walks, you will love going for a walk with Woody. He follows your leads and is well mannered. Sometimes he gets curious and likes to explore the trails on walks. He loves playing with other dogs, following his human, and rolling on the grass. Woody is the perfect balance of active and relaxed! He is super sweet, kind, gentle, and absolutely cherishes his foster family. If you are looking for an easygoing, gentle, and calm cuddle buddy for the couch, Woody is the perfect little one for you. He's the ideal companion!

What’s Great About Woody
Learned quickly
Adapted easily to new foster family
Kind and gentle to other dogs
Well-behaved overall

What Can He Improve?
Like most rescue dogs, these areas of improvement are the result of their hard life in the shelter. But with patience and training, they can improve tremendously:
Loud noises scare him
Skittish around new people
Nervous with strangers or guests
Prefers not being alone (might bark when alone until he’s comfortable with the routine.)
Carsick

Ideal Home for Woody
His ideal home will be calm and quiet (probably just with adults). Woody needs a family that is willing to wait patiently and work with him step by step until he’s comfortable and ready. Then he’ll be your best, most loyal companion.

Medical Notes
No vision in right eye due to cataract, but sees fine otherwise
No additional treatment or issues according to the veterinarian
Overall healthy
