Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Pavy was rescued from Puerto Escondido, Mexico in Feb. 2021 and brought to New York (he’s almost 1.5 years old). He’s such a sweet dog, but he grew too large for my apartment and his energy is too high for the space and now my work travel schedule makes keeping him sadly impossible.
He’s very energetic and gets excited for every walk, and he’s happiest at the dog park running, chasing and rough house playing with other dogs. I don’t have the time to devote to bring him as often as he needs.
He’s had zero health issues or problems, and is up to date on shots.
A perfect scenario would be either someone in a city with a yard and space, also ideally near a dog park where he can go regularly. He’d also thrive in a country, mountain, farm setting where he’d have the opportunity to run and be outside as much as possible.
During the day, he’s chill around the apartment and can be a great companion working from home, I just don’t have the capacity to give him what he needs.
**Pavy is a courtesy posting and not available directly through PupStarz. If interested in Pavy, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org and we'll put you in touch with Pavy's owner**

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
