My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jethro! I am a cattle dog mix and about 6 months old (Aug 2022). My mom had seven boys in her litter! What a clan. We were found out in the frosty winter desert living in a snow pile.  We all look different from each other. It is funny.

I have some of the typical colorings of a cattle dog but am mostly solid brown and white, not many specks. I am also called a ‘low rider’ like my brother Jordy. I have short legs and a long body. I am the handsomest! Do not listen to my brothers who think they are.

I love to play and run. I am cautious of people at first, but once I feel they are safe I love on them all over. I do come to humans I know when called. I am learning how to walk on a leash right now. I will need some house training because I have been outside a lot. When I am in the house I am good. I sleep in my crate and then in the morning we all run outside and do our business. I am a puppy – beautiful and loving. Like all pups, I need some training.

Our mom and a couple of our siblings have been rescued already. I am here ready to find a new home. I am small and will make a great companion for your family. Will rescue me so I can become a family member and bring you love forever?
