Here's what the humans have to say about me:
OREJAS – Mexi-Scruff / 9 Years / 21 kg / M-Neutered
Handsome man Orejas is here, and he is so grateful for his humans and is looking for someone to spend his golden years with.
Orejas is a scruffy gentle giant who just wants to be loved and his foster mom can’t say enough good things about him. He is house trained, sleeps in his dog bed throughout the night without a peep and is a complete gentleman when it comes to house manners. Orejas enjoys the simple pleasures in life: sunbathing, affection, naps, and some good company. He is currently living with cats and never bothers them and sometimes you can even find Orejas laying with them.
We asked foster mom to tell us some of her favourite things about him, here’s what she said: “Orejas loves to boop you with his nose for a hug. He will bow his head down onto your feet and roll over wherever you are if you let him. He’s perfect to take to a nice patio or your dog friendly office as he is just happy to be there with you. He has the chillest demeanour and he doesn’t need a ton of exercise but walks enthusiastically if you pick up the pace.”
His ideal forever home is one with his peeps home most of the time for frequent hugs. He will perfectly fit into a relaxed family and if there are any kids – they should be older and dog savvy. To keep his future life chill, Orejas would love a home outside of the busy city downtown.
To apply to adopt Orejas, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. His adoption fee is $600. If you are a family with older kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
