2-17-10 Update
Madison is doing very well and not so much attached to Emily now that she is more confident and doing much better since she first arrived. She is a beautiful little girl who has so much love to give. Madison would make a wonderful addition to any doxie lovers home. Madison is a very small miniature Doxie.
6-20-09 PUPDATE:
Maddie has become our hold me girl....she is a girl girl that doesnt like to rough house and play. She will put her paws on you when sitting in a chair and stare up at you and give you the sad puppy dog look, if you do not pick her up, she will try to climb up your leg. She does not know she has legs as she loves to be carried around and doted on. We dont know if Maddie (Madison) would be a good "only dog" as she loves to hang with Emily and curly up in her bed and blanket with her. When Emily goes outside potty and Maddie stays in, Maddie will cry unless you are holding her. She does excellent going on potty pads.....she is a fussy eater, we have to add a little can food with her hard food before she will eat. All in all, Maddie is a wonderful little girl...she will make someone a great family member, maybe a single person who is home aloine and would like company.....Maddie would definately take the blues away. She also loves to be on the couch and snuggle with someone.....she would also love to be in the bedf with you but due to 3 Scotties, 1 Doxie and a husband, there is no more room : )
Madison is a 2 yr old long haired black and tan dapple doxie. She came in with Emily. She is cautious about everything and will follow Emily's lead. Just a little sweetheart that needs some extra time and extra lovins. She does cry out for Emily if she cant see her so we would love to see them stay together or for Madison to have a buddy to hang out with. Madison gets along great with other dogs and we havent had a problem with her and the cats.
Madison will be able to go home on Aug 20th after her spay. She is up to date with her shots and heartworm neg. She does look for places in the chain link fence to get out and being that she is only 6 lbs she is able to fit through small holes. She will not come back if called so her family would need a secure fence to keep her safe. She does great on potty pads!
